Sponsorships supporting the event are being coordinated in part through the VMI Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Depending on the specific sponsorship package and associated benefits received (such as hospitality, recognition, or event access) a portion of the sponsorship may be considered a charitable contribution. Any such determination will be based on the fair market value of benefits provided, and detailed information will be shared with sponsors to support appropriate tax treatment in accordance with applicable IRS guidelines. Participating in this event shall not constitute an endorsement of the VMI Alumni Association by any of the participating federal service academies, the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, or related federal organizations.
