VMI Boxers Head to the Inaugural NYC Collegiate Military Boxing Classic

Virginia Military Institute is heading to the ring in New York City. Six VMI athletes will participate in the inaugural NYC Collegiate Military Boxing Classic, giving alumni, families, and boxing fans an opportunity to come together and support the team.

Representing VMI as participating boxers are:

• Justin Petry

• Christian Pinto

• Caiden Cavasos

• Colton Conn

• Isaiah Glover

For these athletes, the inaugural event offers an opportunity to represent Virginia Military Institute on a new stage. For supporters, it’s a chance to bring VMI pride to New York City and cheer on the boxers in person.

Collegiate boxing puts preparation, focus, and resilience to the test. As these six VMI boxers step into the ring, every round will offer fans a close look at the demands of the sport and the determination of its competitors.
