VMI Boxers Head to the Inaugural NYC Collegiate Military Boxing Classic. Virginia Military Institute is heading to the ring in New York City. Six VMI athletes will participate in the inaugural NYC Collegiate Military Boxing Classic, giving alumni, families, and boxing fans an opportunity to come together and support the team.

Meet Colton “Cold-Steel” Conn, a VMI boxer from Lexington, Kentucky, bringing strength, discipline, and quiet confidence to the inaugural NYC Collegiate Military Boxing Classic. An International Studies major and Army ROTC cadet, Colton approaches every challenge with purpose. Whether hiking a demanding trail, lifting weights, or stepping into the ring, he’s driven to push his limits.
